Welcome to the wonderful world of junior golf. Your child is about to begin a real adventure into a lifetime of fun. In golf, unlike most sports, you do not have to be big or strong to be successful. Anyone - men, women, young and old, can enjoy golf.
MCC is interested in helping new golfers become good golf players as well as teaching them to be good “Golf Citizens”. Learning the rules of golf, safety and care of the golf course are just as important as hitting a great golf shot, or winning a tournament . We believe golf is a game, and look forward to helping you have fun!
As in years past the success of the Junior Golf Program requires the participation of many parent volunteers. The greater the numbers the easier it is to oversee the play after the clinics. Parents are encouraged to be in involved with their child’s development as a junior golfer.
Weekly clinics are 45 minute sessions that will cover fundamentals of the game, rules, etiquette and terminology. There will be golf following each clinic.
